Zelda 25th Anniversary Posters Hands-on

Hey guys, Klink here. So my new Zelda 25th anniversary posters arrived today, and they were way better than I expected. First of all, they were really big. You don't need to worry about size issues when ordering these, they are the perfect size. The quality is also great. They come in a tube, so they're all curled up at first, but they flatten out really quickly. A fun fact too to include is that the white Skyward Sword poster is made from different quality than the other two (a more paper-ish fee to it), but its still very sturdy. If you guys want me to show some actual photos or a video, don't hesitate to comment below telling me so.

Skyward Sword Fan Impressions

I was browsing Facebook today and happened to bump into this video which Nintendo posted. Its a Club Nintendo testimonial video trailer, fans who have played the game submitted their thoughts to Club Nintendo. This video includes fan reactions and impressions of the game. If you still do not yet own Skyward Sword maybe this will lead you into buying the amazing game.

Legend of Zelda Poster Flaw

About 2 months ago club Nintendo started to sell 25th Anniversary Legend of Zelda posters for Club Nintendo points. However, there was a minor flaw with some of these posters, the flaw was that the poster had a draft sketch of the loftwing, here is the image:

If you have received this flaw in your poster Nintendo will send out a replacement for free. I got mine today and was reminded I should post an article about this issue. Anyways, I think the flawed poster might become somewhat rare because it has a draft sketch on it and you cant get it anymore, what do you guys think?

Skyward Sword High Expectations?

By now you should of finished your first playthrough of Skyward Sword or very well be up to your third, if you have you will understand what i am writing about. I have been thinking and looking back at the Skyward Sword trailers and such, and thinking about all the hype it had up to its release back in November last year. When I first played Skyward Sword I was amazed by the world and characters and the fact that you can ride a loftwing around Skyloft freely. It struck me, Skyward Sword is very different from previous Zelda titles. For example each Zelda game has its own unique overworld music such as the Hyrule Field theme, I felt that Skyward Sword's theme could have been more of a catchy tune, like Hyrule Field theme was. In saying this I do have to agree that Skyward Sword has some amazing music throughout the game and its a real treat to listen to!

Now I want to talk about the back-tracking in Skyward Sword. Each region in the game was well crafted and very unique, these 3 regions were very large and fun to explore. But I felt after revisiting these regions at least 3 times then doing the Silent Realm, it got a little too tedious for me. The dungeons that went along with these regions were absolutely amazing and very imaginative and well crafted.

I am not saying Skyward Sword is a bad game, not at all. Skyward Sword is one of my favorite Zelda games of all time, I am just pointing out I was expecting more area's to explore and that sense of adventure I got went quickly. Do you guys agree or disagree? I would like to hear your thoughts!

Hyrulecraft Alpha Test

Hyrule Craft is a map based off Ocarina of Time, today I had the chance to play this wonderful creation. The individuals who made Hyrule Craft possible, have spent countless hours destroying blocks to make way for the upcoming Ocarina of Time map. The map is an exact replica of Ocarina of Time it features various warp point locations from the game. Here is what the Hyrulecraft Team says:

"After 9 months of building, rebuilding, and planning, the Hyrulecraft Server is now live for a limited time preview! If you haven’t seen or heard anything about Hyrulecraft before, well then it is time you’ve begun! Hyrulecraft is a 1:1 scale replica of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, in Minecraft! With the alpha map already available as a download, the project has now entered stage 2. The HC team hopes to have a completed server ready later this year which will include a unique Minecraft MMO experience including quests, NPCs, dungeons, free build zones, guilds, and more of the classic Minecraft stuff you know and love. Check out the server today!"

I can say this is a very well crafted map and on scale almost perfectly. I cant wait to see what more the team can do with this map, what do you guys think?

Skyward Sword Wins People's Choice Award IGN

IGN has released the results for the Game Of The Year Award, the overall winner was Portal 2. However IGN set up polls which the fans could vote and decide for themselves. The people voted, and... the people's choice award was Skyward Sword! Which makes me wonder why it did not receive Game Of The Year Award? IGN gave it a perfect 10/10, however, Portal 2 received a 9.5/10, but of course this comes down to the people who voted. Skyward Sword won in these categories: Best Story, Best Adventure, and Best Sound. So there you have it. If you still don't own a copy of Skyward Sword I advise you to go pick one up! Do you guys think this was a fair decision by IGN?

The Official Zelda Timeline Translated by GlitterBerri

By now We all know about the book Hyrule Historia, which was released for the 25th Anniversary of Zelda. The book contains an official Zelda timeline, now this timeline can be very confusing. It still doesn't make sense how the timeline changes when the Hero of Time is defeated, because in Ocarina of Time Link doesn't get defeated he wins the battle against Gannon. I also think it's very weird that the most futuristic Zelda Skyward Sword is the first game in the timeline, well i hope it makes sense for you. GlitterBerri has translated the timeline for us using her skills, this is more or less old news now but it makes a great addition to Zelda Realm.

Zelda 3DS Titles Rumor Confirmed Fake

The rumor concerning these 2 new Zelda titles for the 3DS has been confirmed fake. However for anyone who did not know, the Japanese text means Fire Prophecy and Ice Prophecy. 4Chan have a reputation of uploading fake content but considering how official these logo's looked it even fooled me. GlitterBerri has translated the text, here are the problems with the titles:

-Using を instead of の, which renders it completely nonsensical
-Writing “fire” in kanji and “ice” in katakana makes the titles inconsistent. They should either write both in katakana or both in kanji.

So there you have it, a rumor confirmed fake. It makes me wonder what these Zelda games would have been like if they actually were real. What do you guys think?

(Rumor) Nintendo Working On Two New Zelda Titles For 3DS

Last year in November Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma confirmed that there is a new Zelda title being developed for the Nintendo 3DS handheld. This is what Eiji said:

"We are already preparing a new game, a game in the series for the Nintendo 3DS, but don't think that it is a direct sequel to the Zelda titles released on DS. We are talking about a new game, but it takes much of what has been done on previous consoles."

Retro Studios Working On New Zelda Title?

Retro studios have not worked on a major game since Donkey Kong Country Returns. Sure they developed some tracks for the recent Mario Kart 7 but they have been very quiet as of late. With the Wii U coming this year, it would seem like a good idea to start working on major Nintendo brands. Fingers crossed that we will see what Retro Studios has been working on at E3 this year. This brings up Zelda. Many have wondered what Zelda would be like with the original gameplay with a western style to it, personally, I think it would be weird at first but I am sure people would get used to it. Recently Shigeru Miyamoto suggested Retro would be a prime candidate for a collaboration on Zelda, Retro have proven its talent with Metroid and Donkey Kong, so fingers crossed!

Ocarina of Time vs Skyward Sword

Last month IGN posted a video comparing Ocarina of Time to Skyward Sword. It was all about which game had the best controls, bosses, gear and story. The video showed off all these categories which, viewers needed to cast a vote to decide which game was better in these departments. The overall winner was The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword which received the most votes, however The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time got votes but never was the winner in any of the categories. This makes me wonder why? Ocarina of Time is a classic, it was way ahead of its time and everyone has fond memories of the game. The controls, bosses, gear and story in Ocarina of Time is superb, you would think that Ocarina of Time would have won in some categories. I am not saying that Ocarina of Time is better than Skyward Sword, I am saying Ocarina of Time brought new elements to the table and these elements have been used in countless Zelda titles. Both of these games are unique in different ways for example Skyward Sword has very creative gear and elements, the motion controls are spot on and has changed motion control gaming for Zelda titles in the future. New Club Nintendo Reward: Majora's Mask

The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask has been on the Wii virtual console since 2009 for 1000 Wii points. Club Nintendo are now running a special deal, Majoras Mask is currently only 150 Club Nintendo Reward points! I think this is a very good deal and will get more people playing Majora's Mask and hopefully increase the chances of a Majora's Mask remake for the 3DS.

Great Site Milestone

Hey guys, Klink here! Man, I miss posting on the site! Don't worry, it's not like I quit or anything. I'm usually just busy with school stuff and such. Onto the important news, I realized today at 3:00am that The Zelda Realm hit 10,000 total site views around a week ago, and I completely didn't notice! Man, that's a great milestone! It really proves how big the site is getting, and it's obviously all thanks to you guys, the viewers. I feel an important need to inform you guys about stuff like this, it's you who makes this possible in the first place. I just want to thank you guys so much before signing off. Oh, and one last thing. You may have noticed a lot of firing and hiring of staff members. Let's just say that a lot of them are not proving to be reliable. How unfortunate. Anyways, it's down to me, ZeldaMasterfull, and Shadow Link (a new member not properly introduced yet) who I think will truly improve the site's quality. The Correct Zelda Timeline?

Lately, "Hyrule Historia" have made up a interesting Zelda timeline which is supposed that it is correct, but why? I personally think it is incorrect and a lot of Zelda fans also think it is incorrect because sincerely it really doesn't fit each game with another and it has no sense at all!

Now, I really don't get parts of the timeline and I think I have made a lot of research. Now this is one of the questions you have to think and analyze:

Why is Four Swords Adventures after Ocarina of Time? Shigeru Miyamoto clearly said it was before Ocarina of Time.
Another thing is that why did they thought the hero of time was defeated? It has no sense to split the timeline into three different parts if Shigeru Miyamoto said it was splitted only into two parts not three.
Mainly all the timeline the only clue is "Ganon is Revived" and thats why they put them together but they don´t have more clues to fit them at all! Also in the Adult Era it says: Ganonsorf is sealed but then do you remember when Link is sent back to time? Well nobody is there to save Hyrule so that means the Sages flooded Hyrule and finally when it comes to time Ganon escapes from the realm, not revived as it says in the timeline.

I really disagree with that timeline, but anyways as they say it is the correct one, I think I need to investigate more and review it again, leave all of your thoughts of the timeline in the comments section!

How will Twilight Princess look in Wii U?

Since the Wii U was announced a lot of Zelda fans have been wondering how the series will look in HD. As the Wii U now launches full HD (1080p) fans have made some pictures about how the graphics will look... but not only fans!

Nintendo Everything made some pictures on how will Twilight Princess will look, the pictures seem really clear as well as all the textures from the game. Nintendo Everything also stated that the games should be more natural and the movements will be more realistic.

The Legend of Zelda Timeline Part 1: "The Creation of the Master Sword"

The Legend of Zelda series have been a great and hard puzzle to solve, the timeline until now is unknown, but Shigeru Miyamoto already stated that the timeline was made before starting the series, so this means there is a specific timeline to follow and today I will talk mainly about the order of the games and why they are first or the very end in the timeline. Remember this is made by me, and my thoughts on the timeline, I will try to specify as most as possible and I'm not saying this is the correct timeline.

The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword: This game is the starting of the series, first off because the Master Sword wasn't still created instead we have the Goddess Sword (which is then turned into the Master Sword) another thing is that at the videogame´s back box it says: "The Birth of the Legend" which in other words means that this is the starting of everything, another fact could be the planet wasn't still discovered, and there are no humans in the earth, also mentioning that the civilization in Hyrule does not have enough technology (like in Skyloft).

The Legend of Zelda The Minish Cap: In the introduction cutscene of The Minish Cap it says: "A Picori appeared from the sky" that means Link from Skyward Sword which came from Skyloft and reached the planet. Also the civilization is still the same as the one in Skyward Sword! But now humans are habitating the whole world. The Master Sword still is not present in this game, instead we have the Picori Blade which is the "important" and main sword in the game.

The Legend of Zelda Four Swords: This game is connected with the Minish Cap, as well there are not much technology, but this time the same Link picks up the "Four Sword" (in other words the upgraded Picori Blade) and this multiplies Link by four! then he continues his journey and re-battle the main villian from The Minish Cap called Vaati and finally kills him.

The Legend of Zelda Four Swords Adventures: The game has basicly the same mechanics as Four Swords but now for the first time a new enemy appears called "Ganon" (the pig) which is defeated by Link and his multiple clones! Then the Four Sword is putted back to the pedestal and finally the story ends, Shigeru Miyamoto said that The Minish Cap, Four Swords and Four Swords adventures were before Ocarina of Time in which I will talk about right now!

The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time: This game is the most important part in the timeline because it messes it completely up! First off, it splits the timeline into 2 parts which are called the Child timeline and the Adult timeline. I will talk about them later as we progress, but now let´s talk about why is Ocarina of Time in this place. As the Master Sword is already created in this game we surely know that Ocarina of Time is after these four games, even though Shigeru Miyamoto also said that only three games were before Ocarina of Time and that they are The Minish Cap, Four Swords and Four Swords Adventures, as we have a clue that Skyward Sword is before the Minish Cap I think we need to say they are four games before Ocarina of Time, and also Link opens the Gate of Time (in which was closed in Skyward Sword) which means it was the first time they opened the door to get the Master Sword so at this point and so far we are correct in the timeline!

NOTE: As I told you, the timeline will now be divided in 2 parts called "Child Timeline" and "Adult Timeline", each of them has different games. Ocarina of Time split the timeline because as you saw Link did go to the future leaving behind his parallel world, then Zelda sends Adult Link (with the Ocarina of Time) back to his parallel world, but Zelda still continues her life so they exits two parallel worlds (Child timeline and Adult timeline in this case)!

Hey there guys. As you have noticed, site activity has been at an all-time low. We are writing about two decent articles a month, and we have too much updates, right? Well, let me explain a bit to you so you could understand the reasoning behind the low site activity. First of all, the YouTube channel is getting big. We have mailbags, more videos, and other great things like that, and I really want to keep it going. Of course, this site is the priority. But I am also getting loads of staff requests every week, and hoping the new staff will pick up. Unfortunately, they are not proving to be very reliable. Anyways, I am also working on getting us a domain name and completely new website builder. Once we do that, site activity will boom again! What up you guys! I am Hylian Shadow. I am 12 years old and live in the USA, and I have been a Zelda fan since I was 4 years old. My first Zelda games were Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. I am a proud member of Operation Moonfall, a group of people who email and contact Nintendo to try to get Majora's Mask on the 3DS. I have played all Zelda games, except for Skyward Sword and Minish Cap. I love Zelda because it is a great adventure about a boy who goes on a journey to save the world. My favorite Link is the Hero of Time Link from Ocarina of Time because he was so well-developed and he had to leave his only friends to save the world, and he also got a lot of screen time. I have all Zelda games, I'm a Zelda fan since I was 6 years old. My first Zelda game I ever played was "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past" for the Gameboy Advance Version. I have personally no favorite Zelda game because all of them were a great adventure when I played them. I love video games and sports at the same time, I love playing soccer and basketball and in video games my favorite franchise is "The Legend of Zelda" then the "Call of Duty" franchise. Wind Waker - Wind Gods

Hello everybody! It's been a long while since I last had a theory post, so I have a new one for you today regarding the Wind Gods from the Wind Waker. You probably don't know who I'm talking about now, so read on a bit more.

The Wind Gods are the frog-like creatures in Wind Waker that you find in Dragon Roost Island, a bit on the edges of it. You find two monuments (one broken, for reasons we will discuss) and when you step up to it, the first Wind God, Zephos, introduces himself to you. Later on in the game, you meet Cyclos. Now the big question that all Zelda theorists ask about these gods, what are their positions of power? What theorists mean by this, what exactly are these gods classified as? Aren't there only the three main goddesses? Well, yes. The three goddesses created everything in the Zelda universe as we know it, and must have created these "gods" more as guardians, controllers of the wind and creations that must withhold the state and power of the wind.

Of course, these gods do have abnormal powers, but Cyclos simply proves the fact that they are not perfect creations when he goes into rage and causes cyclones to occur all over the Great Sea when his monument breaks. But how did it break? Maybe something simple, a couple of Rito kids playing around the island, they accidentally break it, then never speak of it again. Yeah, I don't think it was something serious. Otherwise, Zephos would surely have mentioned it to Link.

Hello readers! I have loads of news for you, I decided to make a whole post about it instead of just mentioning it in the next article. So read on if interested.

The first thing I want to tell you is that we have a couple of new affiliates, North Castle and Triforce of Hyrule. Check them out sometime, the link is in the affiliates page.

Other important news is that I finally ordered a new microphone that will allow me to commentate while the videos are great quality. However, the order needs 1 to 3 weeks to arrive. Be patient!

A great milestone that we hit last week was the 5000 site views mark. We had almost 3000 in October alone! I'm glad to say how popular The Zelda Realm is getting, thanks to everyone who visits this site regularly (specifically the 11 followers).

Speaking of 5000, we also hit 5000 total upload views on the YouTube channel, too. Thanks to all of my YouTube subscribers! There is also a possibility that I will start a mailbag on the channel once my microphone and headset arrive.

Please remember to vote on the poll for the next walkthrough. I won't know what you guys want if you don't vote (I'll probably just choose Majora's Mask if less than 5 or 6 people vote).

Site activity has been low recently because I need new staff! No one is applying yet! Please consider my offer and take part in the growing popularity of The Zelda Realm. We are now looking for site designers and promoters as well as news writers.

The last and most important news is that Zelda Realm Walkthroughs, our sister site also created by me to post up video walkthroughs, is closing down. I'm getting very little views on it, and considering I have all of the walkthroughs on our YouTube channel, I decided that it no longer needs to exist. This also means, however, that I no longer need walkthrough writers either for staff, so keep that in mind if you were considering applying for a staff position.

Hey guys. This short post is just a small update about how I possibly will do the Ocarina of Time walkthrough from now on. I'm thinking about not commentating on the walkthrough anymore (note that this is only for the Ocarina of Time walkthrough, my future ones will have commentary). Before you rush to conclusions, however, take a minute to read the advantages and disadvantages of this decision.

Advantages:

Better video quality (HD)
No lagging
Better audio quality
Audio will stop being very quiet
Much more frequent video uploading

Wind Waker - Ganondorf's Escape

Hey guys. Activity has been low recently on the site, but a lot is happening behind the scenes right now. Our YouTube channel is also having plenty of activity, from new Top 10's to walkthrough continuations. Go check it out when you have the time.

A big theory that many Zelda theorists talk about is how Ganondorf got into Wind Waker. We all know that he was sealed in the Sacred Realm at the end of Ocarina of Time by the six (seven) sages. Now, according to my timeline theory, after Ocarina of Time comes A Link to the Past. Ganondorf does not reappear in A Link to the Past, but Ganon (his alternate form) did. This may be confusing, but let me explain what I mean. Ganondorf acquired the Triforce in Ocarina of Time, which transformed the Sacred Realm, also known as the Golden Land, to the Dark World (seen in A Link to the Past) because of his dark heart. At the end of Ocarina of Time, Ganondorf is sent to the Sacred Realm, which is now the Dark World. Then, in A Link to the Past, we meet Ganon again in the Dark World, which is where he is trapped. Ganon is the same as Ganondorf, but his form changed as everyone's does when entering the Dark World (for example, Link becomes a bunny). So now we understand what happened to Ganondorf in the Sacred Realm.

My theory right now of how Ganondorf broke out of the Sacred Realm is simple. The dark wizard Agahnim from A Link to the Past attempted to eliminate all seven sages into the Dark World. He succeeded in six, which weakened the seal that kept Ganondorf in the Dark World, and eventually, he broke out. Apparently, Ganondorf does not die of age, which is why he survived hundreds of years later, and eventually arrived in the Wind Waker. This is how I think Ganondorf escaped the Sacred Realm and came into the Wind Waker.

Hey readers. I have some good news. For those of you who regularly check Zelda Realm's YouTube Channel, you would know that there occasionally Top 10 videos made about different things from Zelda (like songs, enemies, etc.). Latest Design Change

Here it is! Finally, the new design came out! Truth be told, it took me a while to make all of this. I had to redo the whole header, change the color scheme, and do a load of other complicated things, but I'm not going to bore you with the details. This design change was the third major design change The Zelda Realm had, and I think it's also the nicest. Anyways, I want to know what you think. Wind Waker - King of Red Lions

Hello again, readers! As I have figured out from the comments people put on my last article, it seems that I have some flaws in it. I sincerely apologize for this, as I have not played Wind Waker in a very long time, and I hope I can make up for it with this article. I also cancelled the Great Flood article, as no theory is required for it. Its facts are very straight-forward, and you can read the whole story on Zelda Wiki (you can find it's link in the Affiliates page).

The King of Red Lions is a talking boat that Link sails in Wind Waker. It (he) plays a very important role in the game as he is Link's main source of transportation. He also turns out to be Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule, king of Hyrule. Of course, Hyrule no longer exists in Wind Waker, as it is plunged deep under water away from humanity, so basically, the King of Red Lions is not really a king. It is unknown if this was the same king that ruled Hyrule in Ocarina of Time, but I have my share in this. First of all, the King of Red Lions must have been a king at one point, otherwise he would never even been named a king. Second of all, I mentioned in a previous article that I think the king of Hyrule from Ocarina of Time died already. I think that the King of Red Lions may have ruled in the time period between Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker, but as he has abnormal powers, he turned himself into a boat under an alias name when the Great Flood happened. So all in all, I say no, the King of Red Lions was not the king in Ocarina of Time. Another theory about the King is that he dies at the end of Wind Waker, and I support this. He clearly drowns in the water, he looked like he lost hope to live, too. So I think it's pretty clear that he dies.

So did I make up for the last article? I hope I did. Anyways, another important announcement I have is that I am currently looking for News Writers and Walkthrough Writers. Wind Waker - Link's Identity

Hey readers. As the result of the poll I had, I guess that this post will be about who Link is. Now, I don't mean the Link we know from all Zelda games, but I mean the Link specifically made for this game. This may sound confusing, but you won't know what I mean until you read this post. So start reading!

Who exactly is Link, the Link we play as in the Wind Waker? First, let me give you the straight-up facts. He apparently has no parents, lives with his Grandma, and we assume he is 11 years old because he finally reached the age of the Hero of Time, who is Link from Ocarina of Time. Link from the Ocarina of Time began his quest as a hero at the age of 11, so we assume Link from Wind Waker is also 11 years old. Anyways, we also know that Link has a sister named Aryll. But what exactly happened to their parents? I think they must have died in the Great Flood (which we will have a post about, hopefully), and their Grandma came to care for them, which is how they ended up on Outset Island.

A question that is frequently asked is, "did Link descend from the Link's found in the other games?". I think the answer to that is "yes". The first reason is their similarity in appearance, sound, and personality. By this, I mean that they are both courageous and helpful, don't talk much but have the same yells and cries, and obviously, they look a lot alike. Another reason is that Link inherited the power of the Triforce from Link from Ocarina of Time (along with Tetra, who inherited it from Princess Zelda). This, I think, is the main reason. And when I say "inherited it's power", I mean the power of courage, and wisdom. With that said and done, I think it clears up who exactly Link is in this game: a descendant of Link from Ocarina of Time and an orphan who lives with his Grandma.

Yes, I know. This post was weak. But I really don't think this topic was too interesting, but it was voted for in my poll. Wind Waker - Intro

Hello again everyone! As a result of the poll I put up a couple weeks ago, it turns out the the next Zelda game this site will focus on will be the Wind Waker, and luckily, it has plenty of theories we can discuss and the articles will be great.

The whole story surrounding Wind Waker is basically one large theory that I will almost for sure have an article about. There are obviously other theories as well, such as the Ghost Ship, the Great Deku Tree, and the many different islands you find on your adventure through the Great Sea. So remember to follow the site to get the regular updates of the new posts and articles.

Ocarina of Time - Trinity of Truth

Yes! Finally back to real articles! I know you've probably waited a while, but the wait is over now, because the article is finally finished! Some of you won't know exactly what this article will be about judging by the title, but I am sure it is actually a topic you are all familiar with. So enjoy!

The Trinity of Truth may be something that many of you have never heard before. However, it is a very big subject in Ocarina of Time, and significant in other Zelda games. The Trinity of Truth are three Sheikah-made objects that associate themselves with revealing secrets of Hyrule. These three objects are the Mask of Truth, Lens of Truth, and Stone of Agony. Remember, "three" is a number representing these objects, as shown on the Lens of Truth and Mask of Truth.

The origins of these objects are unknown. However, I have a shrewd idea of their origins. If you have read one of the older articles about the Shadow Temple and Bongo-Bongo, you will know that there was a house situated where Kakariko Well currently is. The man who lived in this house created the Lens of Truth. It would make sense that he also created the Mask of Truth and Stone of Agony. As all three of these items are associated with the shadows and secrets, it would also make sense to say that this man of a Sheikah. In present day Kakariko village, the sign next to the well says "Dark! Narrow! Scary! Well of three features". I have looked past the straight-up meaning of this sign. "Dark" can be associated with the Mask of Truth, where something is dark and unknown can be telepathically revealed using the Mask. "Narrow" can be associated with the Stone of Agony. When a path seems to be narrow and irrelevant to your adventure, the Stone of Agony reveals it's secrets and importance. "Scary" can be associated with the Lens of Truth. When you don't know what you see is real or an illusion, the Lens of Truth straightens your path and wipes away your fear because of your new ability to "see".

For those of you who read Harry Potter 7, you would know how the Deathly Hallows can make the holder conqueror of death when all Hallows are together. But when each Hallow is alone, it does not provide the full affect. The same idea goes with the Trinity of Truth, but instead of being the conqueror of death, you become the ultimate "seer", the one who can uncover the "truth". Ultimately, whoever has these three items when playing Ocarina of Time, can really ease up game.

Guess what, Zelda-fans? The Zelda Realm has hit it's 1000th view! This site's popularity is rapidly increasing, which is what led us to this great accomplishment. We gained almost 400 views only in August, and over 150 in just this first week of September! Our increased poularity is what's inspiring me to continue adding features to this site, and the more viewers and followers we have, the better The Zelda Realm will get, so keep them coming! Ocarina of Time - Dark Link

Hey guys. Guess what? Two more Ocarina of Time posts! Yes, there will be this and another one. However, this articles won't be that great. I have very little information on Dark Link, but the Sheikah Artifacts post will be full of surprises. Anyways, enjoy the post!

Dark Link is perhaps one of the most mysterious characters in all of the Zelda games. He, or it, knows every move Link knows, attacks identically, sounds the same, and looks exactly alike beside of the dark feature he possesses. Some say that he was created from Links "dark side". I do not believe this. Only one pure of heart can pull the Master Sword out of the Pedestal of Time. Link was able to do this, and this proves that he has no evil in his heart. It is a possibility that he was created by Ganondorf, perhaps the same way he created Phantom Ganon. Another (unlikely) possibilty is that something that happened to Link or one of his ancestors that split his hero and dark side into two, which caused the creation of Dark Link. It's up to you what to believe.

Majora's Mask - Poe Salesman

Hey everybody. There are a couple of things I would like to say before I start the article. First of all, I would like to say that I have started a new Ocarina of Time walkthrough on my YouTube channel! I have decided to start a new site soon solely dedicated to Zelda walkthroughs, and I will have the link on the sidebar soon. Another thing is that this the last Majora's Mask articles, so if you have any last-second ideas, bring them in.

The Poe Salesman, truly a very mysterious character from both Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. However, he is featured in the Majora's Mask section because that is where he plays a bigger part. Let's get started with his identity. I think it is obvious who he is. You can see in the video in this post, but let me explain anyways. When you talk to the guard standing in the shed full of pots at daytime, he will say that he wishes the world had some more troubles. And if you walk in on him at night, he says he is interested in collecting ghosts. In my opinion, this settles it. So the guard became the Poe Salesman.

Now, some may ask if the Poe Salesman is the same one from Majora's Mask. I think so. You see, in Ocarina of Time, Link defeats Ganondorf and insures a safe future for the people of Hyrule. The guard decides to chase his hobby and find a ghost-inhabited place, and departs to Ikana Canyon. This is why he is found there in Majora's Mask. The Poe Salesman also appears to have powers. He summons a dead tree from nowhere in Majora's Mask to aid Link, and is also able to read minds. Has Ganondorf blessed him with those powers when he turned over to the Dark side? Who knows.

I hoped you guys like the last Majora's Mask article. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, but I actually added Zelda Level to our affiliates a really long time ago but I forgot to mention it. Anyways, it's a great Zelda site for news and articles. I myself wrote a couple there. So you should check it out. And remember to follow the site before leaving!

Majora's Mask - Boss Masks

Good news, everybody! The sidebar gadgets are fixed. Previously, the search and followers gadget were not working, but I fixed them. However, the search gadget will work differently. When you search for a word, you will get all posts with that word. In other news, I have uploaded another video here and on YouTube, and it is about the Fire Temple. Check it out when you can.

The bosses and boss masks in Majora's Mask have very little known about them, so do not expect too much from this article. We all know that the Giants wore certain masks that transformed them, possessed them, and gave them Dark powers. They completely took over the Giants' body and made them do actions they normally would never do, seeing as they are god-like peace-keepers. These masks are clearly the same type of mask Majora's Mask is (though not as strong). But how did they get the masks? Where did the masks come from? And why did the Giants wear them in the first place? Here is an analysis:

Odolwa: The masked, jungle warrior Odolwa was what one of the Giants transformed into when he wore it's mask. The mask must have been created in the swamp region of Termina, seeing as it is the only region that seems jungle-like. I believe an ancient native tribe similar to the tribe I previously had an article about made this mask. This explains the face paint and tribal dancing and chanting. But it has Dark powers, seeing as it poisons the swamp water and makes the wearer very violent and able to summon bugs to aid him. This mask was probably used in war. But how did the Giant find it? Well, it is not coincidence that all the Giants wear Dark masks and transform at the same time. The Skull Kid must have somehow found the masks using Majora's Mask, and as he was the Giants' friend, he gave the masks to them, tricking them into wearing them.

Goht: This and the next two masks show how the Boss Masks are capable of fully transforming a body. The masked, mechanical monster Goht was what became of another Giant after he wore the mask. It transformed him to a large, mechanical bull. This theory may seemed far-fetched, but maybe this mask was possibly made by someone (Goron?) to create an extremely fat creature capable of winning many races. Of course, races are very popular among Goron, so it could be true. Of course, this is not necessarily true. This mask could have simply been made by a crazy man living near Snowhead Temple, as it also has Dark powers allowing the mountains to be covered in snow. As I said before, the Skull Kid tricked the Giant into taking it, which is why he ended up wearing it.

Gyorg: This gargantuan, masked fish also demonstrates how the Boss Masks can transform your body. This mask transformed one of the Giants to a large, vicious fish that has immense powers. It can hit the platform you stand on so hard you will collapse, and it turns the water around Great Bay very murky. Where has this mask originated from. It does not seem likely that anyone made this mask, seeing as a gyorg is a type of fish monster that appears in different Zelda games. Maybe it came from the corpse of an especially powerful gyorg, and Majora's Mask injected powers into it that will turn the wearer into a large and powerful gyorg. And I said before how the Giant must have gotten it into his hands.

Twinmold: This pair of giant masked insects are very powerful. They are possibly the biggest boss in the whole Zelda series. It also has strong Dark powers, capable of giving a depressing mood to all of Ikana Canyon. The theories of where this mask could have came from are countless, seeing as Ikana is one of the most mysterious regions in all of Zelda. The most likely theory, in my opinion, is that it was made by the same ancient tribe that made Majora's Mask and the Giant's Mask. More proof to support this is that it was found in Stone Tower Temple, the temple of the Ancient Tribe. So the facts came pretty straight for this mask.

Well, that concludes the Boss Masks article. I know it seems unlikely, but I don't think you can find any better ideas elsewhere. So, I hope you enjoyed the article, and remember to follow the site before leaving this page!

Majora's Mask - Fierce Deity's Mask

Hey everybody. Hope you liked the moon theory. It is a bit confusing, but if you think about it, it all makes sense. I have some news for all the readers of this site. The Majora's Mask section is coming to an end (as I said last post) after this article and two others. Well, before I start the section of a new game, I am going to add two Ocarina of Time articles (you can see what they are below on the sidebar, along with other future posts). Another thing is that I finally beat Link's Awakening! The story is really confusing, so be sure to expect a section about it. But for now, we are stuck on Majora's Mask.

First thing I would like to say is that anyone who has not read the previous article about the moon may not fully understand this, so I advise you to do that before you read this. Anyways, the Fierce Deity's Mask is the mask you get at the end of the game in the moon when you trade in all of your masks to the children running around. As I have said last post, Link's whole experience on the moon was basically an illusion created in his mind. This theory will support this. Seeing as Link has all of his masks back at the end of the game, this shows that he did not give any of them, and the Fierce Deity's Mask he supposedly had cannot be used. It is displayed in the menu simply to show that you have collected all of the masks in the game, and defeated Majora's Mask. So at the end, the Fierce Deity's Mask was not real, but was part of the illusion (or parallel world) Majora's Mask created for Link inside the moon.

Yes, I know. This was a short article. But don't worry. Hopefully next article, which will be about either the Boss Masks or the Poe Salesman, will be longer. Anyways, I am now accepting request for which Zelda game I should play. Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention, check out the new video about the Shadow Temple I have made on the videos page or on YouTube. Majora's Mask - The Moon

Hey everybody. I have some bad news and good news. The bad news is that the Majora's Mask section of this site is coming to a close. I only have about 3 ideas left, I don't know what the next game the site will be about will be next (though it will either be A Link to the Past or Wind Waker). The good news is that the Zelda Realm YouTube channel has reached 20 subscribers in only a week! If only we had that many followers... anyways, to the article.

The moon plays a very important role in Majora's Mask, as we all know. But many facts about it are ignored and not mentioned in the game. For example, the face on the moon does not appear in any Zelda game and seems very evil. However, the residents of Clock Town do not find it is strange at all that there is a face on the moon. I read something online that said the face was not there at all, but was just a symbol of anger and destruction. This cannot be true, seeing as Link went into the mouth of the moon. Then I came to a conclusion: Termina is a parallel world, which means it can have things Hyrule doesn't. This includes a moon with a face. I believe the facial expression of it must have changed when the curse of Majora's Mask was placed upon it. Confusing? Yes, but it makes sense.

The face on the moon is not the only strange thing about it. One of the most mysterious ideas surrounding this game is how there is a large, seemingly endless plain and one single tree inside the moon, and many children wearing the masks of the bosses you have defeated running around the tree. First of all, I would like to say that I do not believe the experience in the moon even happened to Link. As we know, Majora's Mask is a very powerful mask. It must have created a mind illusion for Link. Some people may not believe this, which is why I have a better theory. Majora's Mask must have created a parallel, simple dimension inside the moon, for the sake of challenging Link. The dungeons? Of course, these were also created by Majora's Mask. When Link defeated all of the bosses from the previous levels, the essence from the temple must have stayed in the mask of the boss, which is why the dungeons from inside the moon match the temple of their boss' mask.

Unfortunately, I know very little of the 5 kids in the moon. I believe that they also are creations of Majora's Mask. They are not human at all. How about the strange questions they ask you? Majora's Mask and it's kid creations must have took on the essence of the previous wearer of the mask, in this case, Skull Kid. This is why the questions they ask all have something to do with Skull Kid's problems.

Majora's Mask - Happy Mask Salesman

Finally back to real posts! Sorry for the long delay of theory posts, but I have been working very hard this past week. I changed the title (hope it's nice!), the logo, created a banner, made a new YouTube channel, and changed the site name and URL. It took a long while, but it's all set and done now. Thanks for the support from everyone who helped! Now, let's get to theorizing about the mysterious Happy Mask Salesman.

The Happy Mask Salesman is a travelling mask salesman that also appeared to be in Ocarina of Time, though their did not seem to be anything strange about him. The Happy Mask Salesman has no known past. He seems to be Hylian, but their are suggestions that he is not human at all. This is is supported because of his many strange abilities, such as being able to conjure large objects from nowhere (his piano from the beginning of Majora's Mask), and how he said he was following Link, but he was not even seen. This implies that he could possibly go invisible. Some people may note his temper and mood swings, but I find this normal, seeing that many people have large tempers. Though he may not seem human, he is not evil. He was scared of the damage Majora's Mask could cause, and was happy when told that the spirit within the mask was driven away.

Perhaps the biggest mystery surrounding the Happy Mask Salesman is how he obtained Majora's Mask. He seems to be the only one in the whole game who knows about this Ancient Tribe that once held the mask. This means he could be a descendant of them, which also explains his personal need to keep the mask, even after the evil left it. He can also do magic, and the Ancient Tribe are said to be magic-doers. Some say he is a spirit alike the children on the moon (seen later in the game). I do not believe this. The Moon Children are, well, children. If they are spirits, they do not grow. I believe that the Moon Children are spirits, but the Happy Mask Salesman is a powerful, non-human.

Hey guys. Recently, I figured out that this blog's name is very similar to another blog. I also figured out that when you Google search for this site, it will display results for the search "zelda facts", not ZeldaFacts. I want some feedback. Should I change the name for this site? If I should, email me some ideas. So far, I have "Zelda Realm", "Zelda Den", and "Zelda Cavern". What do you guys think?

Majora's Mask - Termina/Hyrule Parallel Worlds

What's up, readers? In case you guys haven't noticed, I added at least one photo to every post to make the blog a bit more eye-catching. I also added a "videos" page where I will show all videos I ever post here on this site, and an "about ZeldaFacts" page which briefly explains the purpose of this site and other things about it. You can check them out whenever you want, but for now, enjoy the post.

Termina is (obviously) the world that Majora's Mask takes place in. It is not Hyrule, but similar to it. It is widely believed that Termina is a parallel universe, what with the similar characters and the location. You may find this confusing, but I can straighten it out. First of all, way at the beginning of the game, Link is riding Epona through a forest, a forest that actually seems to be the Lost Woods. The forest has the same entrances to its different parts as the entrances in the Lost Woods, which are large, circular, wooden holes in the walls that looks like a hollow tree stump. This confirms that the forest is the Lost Woods. So at this point, Link is still in Hyrule. Link enters Termina through a "portal". I am 100% sure this portal was the deep, black pit in the tree stump that Link wanders in, but falls through. Proof that this is the portal is that while Link is falling through, what seems to be the essences of masks and creatures in Termina surround him,and when Link finally lands, he is on a flower that cannot be found in Hyrule, and he gives it a curious look. Link is now in Termina.

Termina is not in fact a mirror world to Hyrule; it is a parallel world. It is existing in a different universe than Hyrule, but does not mirror it. For example, just because there are Kokiri in Ocarina of Time does not mean a similar group of people are in Majora's Mask. Though the characters resemble each other, I believe this was done by the makers of the game for sake of the gamer being more familiar with his/her surroundings. But there could be some characters that are the same ones from Ocarina of Time, for example, the Skull Kid, or possibly the Happy Mask Salesman (who I will have post about). These characters simply must have traveled through the same portal Link went through, unless there are multiple portals. Link may have found home in Termina, or may have left at the end of the game through a portal that will take him back to Hyrule. He must have left back because, as proven in later Zelda games, his ancestors lived in Hyrule (or over it, as the case is in Wind Waker).

Majora's Mask - Skull Kid

Hey guys. I hope you enjoyed the new Youtube channel. Although I will not post too many videos for it, I will try to make the videos interesting. I also would like to introduce the new ZeldaFacts logo. It's not too great, but it's the best I can do. If anyone has any thoughts on it, contact me. But for now, let's discuss the Skull Kid.

A skull kid is presumably what happens to a Kokiri who gets lost in the Lost Woods, so Skull Kid was a Kokiri. It is also hinted that Skull Kid is in Ocarina of Time and knows Link. The proof is that in the beginning of the game when Skull Kid attacks Link, he says "This guy... well, that shouldn't be a problem". He also says "you have the same smell as the fairy kid who taught me that song in the woods" to Link. Skull Kid clearly recognized Link. He also seems to have a liking for masks, as shown in both games, when buying the skull mask from Link and stealing Majora's Mask. In Ocarina of Time, he also says he wants to be different, which may be one reason for causing mischief. All in all, Skull Kid is mischievous, but not evil. Majora's Mask possessed him and made him what he was in the game. Although Skull Kid originally came from Hyrule, he may have found Termina before Link, befriended the fairies and giants, and been abandoned by the giants.

Skull Kid may seem to be a strange and mysterious character, but if you pay close attention (as I did), you can figure out exactly who he is. Remember to follow the blog and subscribe to the Youtube channel, and make sure to read next post, which will most likely be about Termina.

Majora's Mask - Majora's Mask

Hey guys. I haven't posted anything in a long time mainly because I was out of the house most of the time , but also because I was gathering facts for this post. Majora's Mask could have countless amount of theories, and I was busy putting them together. So enjoy the post.

Majora's Mask is a very mysterious mask, said to one belong to an ancient tribe (which I will talk about) for their hexing and torture rituals. This ancient tribe sealed the mask into darkness, in fear that it will be misused and cause catastrophe in the world. Although it is not mentioned, I believe this tribe created that mask, as no evidence is given that another tribe created it. How it was created is not known, but it must have involved powerful Dark magic, as the mask seems to have control over itself, posses others, and transform (as demonstrated at the end of the game). The mask salesman somehow stumbled upon it in his travels, but it got stolen from him by the Skull Kid.

Now, a question that all want answered and is clouded in mystery is "what is the ancient tribe?". I believe, along with many others, that the ancient tribe is the tribe that raged war in Ikana Canyon against their , the tribe that lived within Stone Tower and Stone Tower Temple, the tribe known as the Garo. The Garo seemed to roam across Ikana Canyon, specifically near Stone Tower. And although some may contradict that the Garo lived in Stone Tower, it is still highly likely that whoever did live in Stone Tower were the ancient tribe. The way the whole temple is designed resembles Majora's Mask. For example take a look at the entrance. It looks like the mask upside-down, and the entrance hall also has a structure resembling the mask. So, although the Garo may have not been the ancient tribe, I believe the ancient tribe lived in Stone Tower. See the video below for some proof.

Although I straightened out some theories about Majora's Mask, there is still a great deal of mystery around it, and it is not likely that any theory can be truly confirmed. Check out the Stone Tower of Babel theory. It is very interesting and believable. Majora's Mask - Link's Lost Friend

Hey guys. I'm going to be having posts in order on when they happen or are seen in the game, and the first thing that happened in the game is Link embarking on a journey in search of a lost friend. Here is what I think of that.

At the beginning of Majora's Mask, it is said that Link is on journey looking for a friend with whom he parted ways after he saved Hyrule. I am sure this friend is Navi, and for multiple reasons. After the prologue is written, you can hear a fairy fluttering, which means the friend is a fairy. Navi also parted ways with Link after Ocarina of Time. It seemed that Link was riding Epona in forest, which is where Navi could live. The forest could have been the Lost Woods. So it is clear that the lead of Majora's Mask began with Link looking for Navi.

Due to Majora's Mask being filled with mysteries and secrets, I will have many posts, and I will try to post more often. So make sure you guys catch next post. It will be about the actual Majora's Mask.

Majora's Mask - Intro

Hey guys. I completely ran out of ideas for an Ocarina of Time post, so I decided it is about time I start the Majora's Mask section. In case I do have any Ocarina of Time posts, I will put them up, and you can always find it by clicking Ocarina of Time under the "game" section at the left side of the page. But for now I'll be sticking to Majora's Mask.

Majora's Mask is one of the most mystery-filled Zelda games out there, and I will have plenty of posts for it, from the origins of the actual Majora's Mask to Link's actual purpose of leaving Hyrule. I will also be glad to help anyone who is having trouble with the game. It is probably the hardest Zelda game, in my opinion.

Ocarina of Time - Ganondorf/Ganon

Hey guys. As the result of last week's poll, I made this post about Ganon, who appears in many Zelda games. He leads a long and strange life. Let's start way at the beginning.

Ganondorf was born to the Gerudo tribe, a tribe of women thieves who only have a man every century. Ganondorf's father was unknown, but Ganondorf does have the last name of Dragmire. Ganondorf's childhood is unknown, but it is assumed he grew up with the Gerudo's in Gerudo Valley/Desert. Later on in his life, Ganondorf used a sort of Dark magic to have the ability to transform into his Ganon form (which resembles a large boar). Ganondorf then claimed allegiance to the King of Hyrule, and entered the Temple of Time and the Sacred Realm (with the help of Link, who opened the Door of Time with the Sacred Stones), and stole the Triforce of Power. Through seven years, Ganondorf wreaked havoc across Hyrule, until Link defeated him with a blow to his head. Ganondorf survived that blow, but was banished to the Evil Realm by the Six Sages.

Years later, Ganondorf escaped the Evil Realm and successfully took over Hyrule, but the Gods flooded Hyrule in an attempt to stop him. This refers to the Wind Waker game. Of course, Ganondorf was stopped again by Link. In Twilight Princess, Ganondorf is executed by Link in an epic battle.

As we know, different Links are in different Zelda games because of the time differences, and occasionally Ganondorf would appear and be defeated in them. But he is finally defeated in Twilight Princess, and it is unknown if he will appear again.

New Name

Hey guys. A couple weeks back, I completely re-designed this whole site, in hopes of making it look nicer. Well now, I also changed the title from "The Legend of Zelda" to "The Hyrule Blog". It seems like a much catchier and cooler name, so I think this should stick. In case anyone has any better names, please comment them or email me your thoughts. I'm curious to know.

Unfortunately, I had to take down the poll three days early due to design changes, but the results showed that I will have a Ganon/Ganondorf post. Ocarina of Time - Boss Theories (Part 2)

Hey readers. This the next part of Boss Theories from yesterday. I haven't put up the Ganondorf poll yet, but it will be up. For now, enjoy the post.

Phantom Ganon: Phantom Ganon is a mysterious creation of Ganondorf himself. He looks like him, except for the face, which is actually a flame. Phantom Ganon also has similar attacks to Ganondorf. It seems like it was created without any effort from Ganondorf, as he calls it worthless when defeated. It also seems to have feelings, as Ganondorf banishes it to the "gap between dimension" as punishment. How it was created is not known.

Volvagia: Volvagia is a long, snake-like dragon that lives in the extreme conditions of Death Mountain's crater. To be more specific, it lives deep in the Fire Temple under a large stone platform. Volvagia can only live in extreme heat. It was capable of living hundreds and maybe thousands of years. Ganondorf had the intention of feeding Gorons to Volvagia as an example of the consequences to those who oppose him. But there is something mysterious about Volvagia. According to Goron lore, Volvagia was previously defeated by a legendary Goron with the Megaton Hammer. Link did the same thing hundreds (or thousands) of years later but it appeared that Volvagia was killed. How did the previous Goron defeat Volvagia without killing it? Maybe Volvagia never died.

Morpha: Morpha is giant aquatic amoeba also created by Ganondorf to corrupt Lake Hylia and the Water Temple. Morpha seems to control itself from its large nucleus that acts as a brain. It is intelligent and very powerful. Morpha is not made of water, despite its looks. It is able to grab Link and shake him around, and is vulnerable to fire. What exactly Morpha is made of is not known, but it is invincible to physical harm.

Bongo-Bongo: Possibly the most mysterious boss in all of the Zelda series, many theories surround the origin and figure of Bongo-Bongo. Bongo-Bongo was originally sealed in Kakariko Well, but broken out and went into the Shadow Temple. But what exactly is Bongo-Bongo? Let's start from the beginning. It is said that Bongo-Bongo was a man who owned or maybe created the Lens of Truth and Mask of Truth. I believe he stole them, but was caught. Then his hands were cut off as punishment. This explains his cut hands. He must of also been beheaded for some reason (probably in the Shadow Temple, see Temple Theories for more information), which explains the cut head. The eye in his head that appears when you fight him must symbolize the Lens of Truth. More proof to this theory is that his house used to be where the well is, which is why he was sealed in it. No theory can be 100% guaranteed right.

Twinrova: This boss was also hard to collect facts about. What I discovered of Kotake and Koume is that they are of Gerudo descent (given their appearance), but were skilled in witchcraft, not fighting. They are twins, and capable of fusing together to make Twinrova. Koume was fire-typed, while Kotake was ice-typed. They also served as Ganondorf's surrogate (substitute) mothers. They are extremely loyal to him, and one of Ganondorf's most powerful followers.

Ocarina of Time - Boss Theories (Part 1)

Hey readers. I made this post in a format similar to the Temple Theories format, except it will be about the bosses fought in the game. There's more to the bosses than most of you think, and here is an overview of each one:

Queen Gohma: Gohma is a spider-like creature that lived inside the Great Deku Tree. But Gohma was not born there; in fact, it was Ganondorf who somehow placed an egg inside the Great Deku Tree. Eventually, the egg hatched and grew into Queen Gohma. She began to feed on the insides of the Great Deku Tree. Link had to enter him and kill Gohma.

King Dodongo: The king of the dodongos, dragon-like creatures that live in Dodongo's Cavern, and who are very explosive. King Dodongo is the ultimate ruler of all dodongo's in the cavern. There is not much to say about him. He was not part of any type of dark magic or related to Ganondorf. He simply took over the cavern to make it his habitat. But this does assume he used to live somewhere else, most likely somewhere rocky and humid. But in the game, dodongos do not appear anywhere else.

Barinade: Barinade is a large, electric anemone that appeared inside Lord Jabu-Jabu and began to cause him internal pain. It naturally infected him, just like how a human would get sick. Barinade is actually like a large virus, and Link had to kill it. It also seems that Barinade attracts electrical creatures like the Bari, and used them as a defense.

I have only included three of the ten bosses fought in the game, but next post, there will be five more. I will not include Ganondorf. I will take a poll (on the sidebar) that asks if anyone wants a Ganondorf/Ganon post, but otherwise, I won't include him. Thanks for reading, and make sure to read the next Boss Theories post.

Ocarina of Time - Ice Cavern

Hey guys. My account has currently been down for a while, so I might not be able to post for extended periods of time. I want to remind everyone who reads this blog regularly to start following by pressing the "follow" button write under the followers section. More followers to me means I will post more than I already do and I can keep the blog going. Thanks for the support I am getting from you guys.

I want to write this post about the Ice Cavern. I haven't included it in my Temple Theories post because, technically, it is not a temple. But this cavern is actually a great mystery itself. Lets explore.

The Ice Cavern is located in Zora's Domain where the small lake is. Caverns actually form themselves, so it was not built for some spiritual reason. Ice Cavern a great source of blue fire, which can be found, other then buying it for 300 rupees. But a real mystery is how the Iron Boots got there. I think that someone hid them in the cavern, and maybe even used the cavern as a hideout. You can see how there is a hole filled with water you can go into to have a shortcut out of Ice Cavern. It was clearly built their. Maybe it was a safe haven from Ganondorf after he took over. Maybe it was a Zora, who could actually resist such cold weather, and built the platforms to hold the blue fire. My personal opinion is that is was a Zora's. But it is up to you what to believe and what not to believe.

Ocarina of Time - Hyrule Castle

Hey guys. I haven't written in a long time, but this is mainly because not one person gave me a suggestion on what to write. I decided to make this post on Hyrule Castle, a place in the game where almost no information is give. All you do is sneak through the courtyard. But I'm here to give some straight-up facts.

Let's start out simple. Hyrule Castle is located far up north in Hyrule. It is home to the royal family, which is Zelda, her father who is the king of Hyrule, her mother, who we presume is alive, and probably other relatives. Other people living in the castle are the guards, maybe some servants, and the few remaining Sheikah (who swore allegiance to the Royal Family ages ago). Seven years later, Ganondorf took over the castle and made a moat of lava around it for protection from intruders. Obviously, Ganondorf made a few changes in the castle. He probably changed the whole layout, adding and changing rooms, bringing in monsters and getting rid of old inhabitants. I think he actually killed the king of Hyrule, otherwise, people would have talked about him. This also means Zelda's mom was also killed (most likely). It looks like Hyrule Castle has a bloody history, and was probably re-built many times.

Ocarina of Time - Link's Past

Hey guys. I haven't put up up a post since Wednesday, so here's one today. I always wondered where exactly Link's life has started. All the games usually make him start as a 10 year old kid (my mistake if I've written in another post he is 11), but how about before that? I think I know.

It states at the beginning of Ocarina of Time that Link's mother brought him to the Kokiri Forest when he was a baby so the Great Deku Tree would care for him. This happened in a time of war in Hyrule (Hyrulian Civil War). I think that Link's father was killed when fighting in this war, and his mother was killed, too. He was then born and raised in Kokiri Forest. Ocarina of Time then starts when Link is ten years of age. Ocarina of Time is also likely to be the first adventure for Link, judging by how he is surprised when the Great Deku Tree tells him his fate is to save Hyrule. So Link led a normal orphan life before Ocarina of Time started.

Ocarina of Time - Ganondorf Entering Kokiri Forest

Hey guys. I hope you liked my last post about temple theories. By the way, I liked your idea about the Forest Temple, Shora. It makes sense to me; the design can really fit into a castle. If you want regular updates on my blog, just click the follow button. Be the first one! And now, into the topic.

My idea about how Ganondorf entered Kokiri Forest is vague. Unfortunately, no one emailed me or commented about it, which is what I would like everyone to do. If your idea is good, I will use it and mention that you gave me it. Firstly, I do not think Ganondorf entered the Forest using the main entrance. He would have been spotted. For those of you who have beat the game, you will realize that Ganondorf has many powers. I think that he can teleport, which is the only explanation of how he got to the Great Deku Tree without anyone seeing him. Strange, but possible.

Ocarina of Time - Temple Theories

Hey guys. I decided I want to discuss some things about the temples in the game. As you guys know, you go in, fight some monsters, beat the boss, and leave. But what exactly are the mysteries of these places? Here's an analysis:

Forest Temple - For starters, I do not think this place even began as a temple or a place of worship. For those of you who beat the level, you would notice it looks more like a castle or mansion. There has obviously been some act that happened in this place that turned it to a temple. It is common opinion that the four poes in it have lived in the temple. Now, poes are "concentrated spirits of hatred", which means that these poes have done an evil act when human, and cursed the whole mansion. The creatures (or whatever lived in the Sacred Forest Meadow) have probably preserved it or simply stayed away from it and called it a temple.

Fire Temple - The Fire Temple is located in the crater of Death Mountain, therefore, not many people can access it. The game actually explains it pretty well, saying that it is the place where a Goron hero banished Volvagia with the Megaton Hammer. So it clear, this place can be called sacred by the Gorons since a historical battle occurred there. But what is the mystery behind the original design? I can say that it held some resemblance with a prison because of the many cells, so it is my theory that an ancient tribe (possibly Goron) used it as a prison.

Water Temple - This temple was built to "worship the water spirits" according to Kaepora Gaebora, and the Zoras were the guardians. This explains a lot. It is most likely that the Zoras came to worship here, and almost no one else can access the temple supports this fact. So there is not much of a mystery here. But one thing that I hear (and see) many places is that the temple has many statues that resemble snakes. My theory: the water spirits resemble snakes. Simple as that.

Shadow Temple - This temple is very mysterious and strikes up many conversations. The first question: why is called a temple? There are many explanations. This is a place where "gathers Hyrule's bloody history of greed and hatred". The Sheikah guarded this temple. My theory is that they banished all evil spirits into this temple, and Bongo-Bongo was the ultimate evil spirit. Another question is why is it designed the way it is? My theory is that this temple is where criminals were brought to be punished and executed in order to keep a peaceful Hyrule. The last question is: is the big statue of a raven a representation of a temple guardian? It could be. But I do not think so. The Sheikah have always guarded this temple. There is a simple explanation. Ravens represent fear and darkness.

Spirit Temple - This temple is also not as mysterious as the others, but does have some mystery. First, let's get something straight. It was built by the ancient Gerudo ancestors as a shrine, and then was used by Ganondorf as a hideout. I am not sure to who it was a shrine, but I think it was for the gods they worshiped. I also do not think the snake statue in it resembles a guardian of the temple, but all the statues resemble different gods they worshiped. The temple also holds lots of treasure, and all of the enemies and monsters inside must have been enchanted to defend it by Ganondorf and his minions.

Ocarina of Time - Intro

Hey guys. This new post will be all about my all time favorite game, Ocarina of Time. For those of you who haven't played it yet, you are missing out on a LOT. The story line is remarkable, and that's not to mention the actual game play. The dungeons are amazing, although most of you probably found at least one really hard. The music is memorable, with the best songs coming from places such as the Forest Temple, Spirit Temple, and Hyrule Field. And no one can forget the whole Fire Temple music controversy (don't know? Just comment or email me at the address in the first post).

Now to get to the interesting stuff. Did you guys know that young Link is actually 11 years old and adult Link is 18 years old? Not a well known fact. Another fact, did you know that there are 100 Gold Skulltulas in the game, and you can always find one if you drop some bugs in those brown patches? If you do end up getting all of the Gold Skulltulas, you can go to the Skulltula House and get a Big Rupee from the man in the middle whenever you want. Pretty cool.

Anyone need any help on how to get a weapon or beat a level? Ask me. I beat this game more than once and with all the weapons, so I am the right guy to ask.
